Exploring the Past to Inform the Present

This podcast strives to bring the past to life, partly because it is fascinating in its own right, and partly because our collective past has so much to teach us about the present. As David McCullough put it so succinctly: “History is who we are, and why we are the way we are.” If we are ever to have a shot at understanding humanity, then history is the best place to start.

Joshua Davidson is an amateur historian and a long-time teacher of history, literature, and other humanities subjects.
